I ordered $11,000+ of lumber from them almost one year ago. When driver go here the weather was very wet and rainy, however he unloaded my lumber and drove over 50 yards in my yard and drove over my concrete rain drain about 4 feet wide, breaking into pieces and placed my $11,000+ lumber order into the mud. I confronted him and he was VERY RUDE. I started taking pictures and called the manager of Pro Build Quentin Williams. After speaking with him he apologized for his driver on behave of his company and asked he to email him pictures. Shortly after he returned my email with another apology and offered to take care of concrete and send someone out to power wash my very long drive way. I also pointed out that he was driving up on my driveway on a edge that was very unstable. Which now has a 6 foot crack all the way across my drive way. But since I was focused on the other problems driver was giving me I didn’t notice until 3 days later when my contractor got on site to start my backyard patio. My contractor told me I needed to go after ProBuild for all the damages. I explained to him that they were going to take care of it VIA QUENTIN WILLIAMS. Contractor told me to put sod down in place of concrete because it would be cheaper and I would have a better chance of them repaying. Many weeks later I do a follow up with him and he says that they are sending me a check and asked for my address. AND many weeks later I called him again to do another follow up on my check, and was told that I needed to speak with in accounts payable so they could figure out how to pay me…. So I did I send copies of my invoices told them my contractors name and business info my address and my name. Still nothing again many weeks later I follow up again and they r sending today…. A month goes by and Quentin Williams now says I need to speak with his boss, John Ayers, to get paid. It has almost been a year now and after MANY, MANY, MANY emails and phone conversations regarding the misconduct of their driver and his ignorance towards my property, John Ayers says THEY ARE NOT PAYING FOR MY DAMAGES. So let me now tell you my damage was in total were $560.00 plus $6,000 to fix my driveway, which I caught to late. I asked only for $250 for the one place he did the most damage, which was to my concrete drainage. By the way, there was 200 yards of space to go around it and there very intelligent employee decided to drive right on it. You would think a smart business man would see that he would be better to stand by his customers, UNDERSTANDING THAT I WOULD BE A RETURNING CUSTOMER. For god sake I’m only asking for $250 that I needed to fix right then. Not for the full amount, which my lawyer says I can go for due to my propriety cameras that recorded the entire event plus most of the voice recording once the forklift was off. This company in my experience has been the worst builder supplier customer service I have ever dealt with. I highly encourage anyone to look elsewhere. I would have giving a 4 stars if they had held up their end and paid for the damages they did.

I have been a Probuild customer since the Edmond, Ok store opened and have known some of their sales staff since 1978. I went to Probuild recently as a cash customer to get some trim to complete a project. The trim sales lady was unable to process my order without extensive help from her co-worker and had a difficult time understanding that a trim component (in this case, a transition block) would not be sold by the foot. After she was finally able to generate my ticket, she said she was required to walk me back to the service desk so that they would know to collect money from me. The desk person there told me to wait for an employee to get my trim. I could see two of their people visiting deeper in the warehouse, but they did not come to help me. After a little over 5 minutes, an announcement was made that a customer was waiting. One of the men turned to look my way and then continued as before. Another 4 minutes passed and another annnouncment was made followed about a minute later by a third one. As a warehouseman finally arrived, a desk clerk stuck his hand out the window with a transition block asking if that was what I wanted and telling the warehouseman how he had one in there and had saved him a trip upstairs. I am not sure which disappointed me most, being treated as if I could not be trusted to do my part (pay) by some one totally incompetent to do her part (generate a sales ticket) or the absolute and total disregard for customer service at a desk purported to be for that purpose. I have long valued my relationship with Probuild and am so sorry they have lost their way. Kelly Barker
