  My son applied for a job . 7/11/16 2:18. He called back on that date and manager was very rude. Said that hiring managers was not present and once he asked when the hiring manager would be around, she responded by basically saying if we want to hire you we will call you. If you are not the hiring manager why would you respond with that statement. Very rude..I do not think that Hot Topics would not want a manager who does not have the ability to speak with respect. When My son went in to apply, the manager clearly told him they were interested. It was very discouraging and dismissing to him.

  No greeting, no help, and when I get to the register I have to wait 20 minutes before I get checked out. But somehow I still visit and buy because it's the only place that carries certain apparel I like. No customer service skills. They are literally clerks. Was in to buy a shirt the day before yesterday, already knew what I wanted, just had to grab and pay. I was the 2nd person in line for 20 minutes. The customer ahead of me had some issues that the 1st clerk could do nothing about, so the manager on duty, standing at the open register next to hers decided to take things into his own hands. Great right? Not when he could ring me out in 30 seconds and then help them. Didn't even ask if I minded. So while the incompetent other clerk is doing nothing I'm stuck waiting, when I could be getting checked out. This happens everytime. Or when I get to the register, the clerks are chatty with the people ahead of me. Let's keep it moving please. Pay more attention to other customers and study up on your customer service.
