  We built a home and our bathroom counters were done by althenian marble. While it looks nice, I am very frustrated with the customer service. Within 6 months I started noticing that my marble was looking very dirty and porous and had already lost its wow factor. They say that my builder must have forgotten to tell me I needed to get it sealed. But I am wondering why a marble speciality company does not include that as part of their installation service. Seems like they just install the marble and are done with their job. I've called to request a rep to come out and between althenian and my builder no one wanted to follow up. I called three times before I got a call back and as of now they are not willing to come for a service visit because they say "it is not their fault".
